Upcoming Tour Dates at Maine Grains

Friday, August 2nd 2:00 pm  Riverfest weekend in downtown Skowhegan!
We’ll take an hour long spin through the mill and cover the history and story of our start up gristmill project.  Afterward, you can enjoy a cocktail on the patio of the Miller’s Table, and a book discussion and signing by local author, Robert Wesley Clement, an area native.  Hewill talk about writing, his inspiration, and the stories behind the stories! Many of his books feature the central Maine area, local historical events, and Skowhegan itself. He is the author of Are You Going to Skowhegan Fair?, As It Lies, Troubled Waters, This Old House, and Pebbles from the Pond. Books will be available for purchase and there will be lots of other fun to be had around town that day and evening, including a glow stick paddle on the river gorge!

Friday, August 10th 10:00 am
Join us for a tour, followed by lunch at the Miller’s Table cafe onsite, and then head up to the 200th Annual Skowhegan State Fair!

Saturday, September 1st 12:30 pm
We will tour the mill, give you time for lunch at the Miller’s Table onsite, and then you can join the fun at the Skowhegan Craft Brew Festival downtown.  VIP and General Admission tickets now on sale.  Craft Beer pours start at 2:00 pm.

Tuesday, October 16th 3:00 pm  World Bread Day!
Come learn about the mill, the local grains we mill and how they can be used, and celebrate World Bread Day with us!  We would love to hear about YOUR bread and baking memories.

Tours are free of charge
