What makes you most proud to work at Maine Grains?
The lucky people get to eat everyday, sometimes three times a day. Every time they consume they are passing a vote for how they want the world to work in the future. With all the undeniable evidence against “Big Food” as a leading contributor of pollution and climate change, along with carbon emissions involved with shipping food from far away, I think about “my vote”. The best way I can think of to be counted and proud of “my vote” is to consume only local food and local products. Maine Grains sources local grains, supports the local economy and that affects familiar people and families that I want to see thriving. I am proud to be a part of that in my daily work!
