Ingredients
  • 1 cup Maine Grains Sifted Flour our all purpose, organic flour
  • 1 cup Maine Grains Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon optional
  • 1/3 cup Canola Oil
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 medium Farm Fresh Eggs optional
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan Combine flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl
  2. In a separate bowl whisk the oil, sugar and eggs well for 2 minutes Lightly whisk into the egg mixture the milk and vanilla Add the wet to the dry, stir till just blended - mixture will be thin Pour the very thin batter into the prepared pan
  3. Bake 50 - 60 minutes, or until the top of the loaf springs back when touched. Let cool on a rack for 10-15 minutes before taking it out of the pan. Enjoy with jam, butter, cheese, etc - at any meal with any topping of your choice.
